Hercinia Arts Collective is looking for interested movement Artists to participate in a contemporary circus creation process for The Chaos Project - Part III: War, taking place outdoors at The Bentway this August.
Part III: War is set in a post-apocalyptic environment and focuses on the aftermath of a cataclysmic event. This creation process will be facilitated by project choreographer Diana Lopez-Soto and project director Kirsten Edwards and will focus on the development of a unique movement vocabulary on and off a custom apparatus.
We are looking for interested and engaged movement Artists from diverse disciplines including, but not limited to: aerial arts, dance, parkour, skateboarding/roller skating, acrobatics, contortion, hand-balancing, object manipulation. We encourage emerging movement Artists from all disciplines to apply and Artists from underrepresented communities (BIPOC, MAD, LGBTQ+ & Disabled Artists) are also encouraged to apply.
