Money Fish: Balls, Balls, Balls at Flagstaff Park

  • Flagstaff Park 32 Mercury Road Etobicoke, ON, M9W 3H5 Canada (map)

Join us in Flagstaff Park in Etobicoke as part of Arts in the Parks 2026. The evening begins with a drop-in circus workshop with SoCirC facilitators at 5:30pm, followed by a new version (with aerial!) of our seriously silly clown-dance show, Money Fish: Balls, Balls, Balls.

Money Fish: Balls, Balls, Balls is a 30 minute non-verbal show for kids and kids at heart. Drawing from circus, dance, physical theatre and clown, we tell the story of three bizarre and hilarious characters who must learn to work together to overcome the many obstacles being sometimes literally thrown at them. Set to an array of the most recognizable classical music, the Money Fish lovingly parody ballet, opera, contemporary dance, acrobatics, silent film, and anything else that might take itself too seriously, all while navigating their own ever-evolving relationships with each other and the audience.

Community members will have the opportunity to join social circus ambassadors SoCirC for free workshops before the shows, where they will be introduced to circus skills such as juggling, object manipulation, and balancing. Participants who choose to will also have the opportunity to perform their newfound skills at that evening’s show alongside a different emerging aerialist from Toronto’s growing circus community each night.

Have another talent you’d like to share? New this year, we are also adding a community talent show on Saturday and Sunday! Share a dance, sing a song or show off your fashion - we are open to what you’d like to share. Sign up in advance by emailing hello@herciniarts.com or sign up in the park between 5:30-6:15pm Aug 19-23. See talent show parameters below for more info.

Workshops begin at 5:30pm and the show begins at 6:30pm, each evening from Wed Aug 19-Sun Aug 23, 2026 at Flagstaff Park. Community talent show will begin at 6:15pm on Saturday Aug 22 & Sunday Aug 23.
